Rajpreet - Fable: The Tortoise and the Hare

Dear Mrs. Hamilton,

Today I read this wonderful fable called "The Tortoise and then Hare." In this fable their are two characters a speedy Hare and a slow and steady Tortoise.

In this fable I liked the part when the Tortoise wins the race slow and steady. I disliked the part when the hare bragged about how fast he was. I thought it was really nice of  Tortoise's friends to cheer for him when he had won.

At the end of the story Hare had gotten his lesson which is "don't brag about how fast you are."

I had really enjoyed this fable. This fable is one of my favourites. The moral of this story was slow and steady wins the race.

                                      Sincerely,
                                                      Rajpreet
